Food and ambiance were both an experience everyone in our group is still raving about. Portions were large. Saturday evening they had a mariachi style band with a sousaphone.

I absolutely was sold on this place right from the get go. Came in early dinner for NYE because we were craving seafood and zero disappointments on the food, which I will definitely get to. Service was on point with our main server fielding all of my questions about their multi-person and single patron offerings. She and the rest of the staff kept checking in on us and were very friendly. Atmosphere was open tables and lots of seating with what is a long front bar seemingly worth checking out. It got loud with a trio playing Banda right in the midst of the tables. Don't expect intimate conversation when this is happening but it was good music. Now, the dishes. We were going to share an appetizer platter but no option really was for just two. So glad we went a different route! After our micheladas (mine with Negra Modelo...mmm) we shared the Calle (raw scallops) tostadas which were yummy and a refreshing appetizer that paired well with the drinks. My partner had the mojarra frita and the fish was super tender and well seasoned. But the night's winner was the pulpo (octopus) al mojo de ajo (garlicky goodness...my choice of cooking style) and whoa, it was a huge whole one grilled perfectly with onions, bell peppers and potatoes seasoned beautifully. I ate it solo, cut pieces into tacos with very well-made guacamole and queso fresco slices on the side. For me a must-have again, but be warned: it is market priced but for its portion size, quality and freshness well worth every penny. A definite gem in a hidden part of OKC!! Can't wait to go back.

I'm finally giving this place the review it deserves since I came back! What a restaurant in Okc! Bartenders? Hot and give amazing service especially Ashley and Valeria. The food? Still completely unreal and the prices are a great deal in my opinion. The vibes? Crazy cool kinda like a Mexican party every time you go in, especially if you sit at the bar. They have live music pretty often and I feel like it's usually always busy. Anyways give this place a try if you haven't already, you will not have any regrets especially if you love Mexican food or sea food!

First time here as I was just passing by after landing in OKC. Decent service, but it seemed like a place that most of the customers come frequently and know the menu well. The food itself was good. Good background music. Nothing unique about my experience, just a cool place to stop and grab a bite.

We are new in town and our friends recommended this place. We actually found it in the Edible OK magazine. We are from SoCal so we can be a little snobby about Mexican food. What worked: +++++++++++++ We arrived about. 5pm for dinner. Good time before it gets busy My grilled fish taco was huge, hot, and flavorful The portion sizes are big. You could easily over order My friends Birria taco and the consume The ring chip things were super yummy Good parking Good sized restaurant Neighborhood spot. People coming in selling things like tortillas, peppers, etc Service is good Salsa was good What didn't work -------------------------- My margaritas didn't seem to have much tequila No beans/rice The fajitas plate was a bit dry. Flavor was good

Being from SoCal, I was excited to hear about this place. My friend and I went during the week and early (5pm). There was a handful of people already dining. We placed our order and the food arrived quickly. I ordered a fried fish taco, surf n turf and grilled shrimp taco. I read the reviews regarding the fried fish taco, stating it was mostly batter and hardly any fish. I can't comment on their experience, but I will state, in my opinion, it wasn't firm white fish so it appears when you bite into the batter, that it's all batter. I don't want to say the fish was mushy, but it wasn't firm. And (temperature) hot!! The surf n turf was delicious! I was hesitant about the steak because it looked tough. But I will tell you, I fought more biting into the shrimp than I did the steak. It was so tender. The shrimp wasn't tough, but plenty. The grilled shrimp taco had quite a bit of shrimp. The last two bites was literally a handful of shrimp. The salsas were also flavorful and delicious. I will definitely be back. By the time we left at 7pm, the place was packed. The service was very good.

Let me just say WOW. The ambiance was sooooo fun, with music playing, lots of colors everywhere, and the vibe just elevating your mood. The table came with these crunchy crips things that reminded me of my childhood lol!! Curbed our appetite while we waited for food. We ordered the tacos, an aguachile (I forgot which one), and the star of the show: the octopus. The aguachile was very good. I was apprehensive because I read so many reviews about raw shrimp but ours was cooked through with the acid. The beef tacos were good but the chicken was very dry. The octopus was a little overwhelming but it tasted good. It could have used a little more salt. I felt the texture was great and it was cooked well, but it was missing a flavor punch. The reason I'm giving this place 4 stars is because they brought out the wrong food item and then charged us for it. When we asked for it to be corrected they said something like they substituted the cost of the food item with our drinks? Anyways, the drinks were also amazing. Try their mango marg!!
